Different weapons have different advantages: Blade has ranged aoe while Sword has close-ranged aoe. However, like Lina said, the sword in Talisman gives quite a lot more damage. It is all a matter of taste. But since ur still low level (Buy Talisman Gold), assuming you want to play this the easiest way:
Start with blade, when you enhance it, save 5 inherence points for when you get level 30, so you can put them on the aoe skill.
Sword is better if you really want to enjoy but your gears will affect a lot to your weapon like if you are using sword then you need much mana n hp...bcuy wen you use fire bomb you are in between the mobs n they gonna attack you moreover it required more mana if you are using blade then you won't needed more hp bcuz you will never go in between the mob they will die before they reach to you so if your using blade then make full c.s. Set thats the best if plannig for full ssc set then go with sword becuz 6 ssc gears will decrease your fire bomb cooling time 2 seconds ssc set has mana as well as HP.
Blades will lvl u pretty fast this way and u can get higher level blades from reputation only the level 40 sword is available in reputation. Then what always do on chars is: at level 48 theres a quest for a blue bead(item that has 50% chance on turning an item blue. Save it for when you get a level 70 weapon. In our case, try to use it on the sword. If it works: you have a lot of work to do. If it fails, just keep using ur blade and get gold level 60-70 items. If it does work, you should get loo's village reputation for purple items.
