Except the new race Pandaren and new class Monk, I think players most concerned thing is the pet battle system which gets both praise and blame. Here it the interview with World of Warcraft production directer. I think if you can make good use of the pets, then you can buy WOW GOLD less times.
Wired.com: The pet battle system gets both praise and blame. Do you really like many people have pointed out refer to the Pokemon? How do you describe this feature? It is just an entertainment or will develop into a formal PVP game?
Allen: This is indeed a very good question. We actually have not done for this new content, I consider a lot of positioning. The most important thing is that it will become the kind of project all players are free to participate and feel fun. But you will be surprised and fear not to meet the needs of high-end gamers. In fact, you do not need to worry about.
We have a clear objective of this project, but more importantly, it must be interesting and achieve this vision that players interact with pets. So far, players collect pets for many years. When we first put pets into the game, everyone feel excited.
Wired.com: You mentioned that you are still working on fixing position and designing the pet battle system. So how do you go to balance them? Is some rare pets more powerful? Or it all depends on the player's operation?
Allen: This is entirely controlled by the players decision. You can see a pet, ans say: "Hey, I want this pet," then the only kind of pet may be extremely rare, it has three or four varieties of skills. Other pets will also have similar or different types of skills. So when we play against each other with a more exciting, more simple, and more direct way, "I now have a world-rare pets, and I am stronger." This is the result what we plan to achieve.
