The Retribution tree suggests that paladins can classify as crusaders, which would probably require some honor less killing. But Im not entirely sure. Are they always lawful and good? Is it possible to play a fallen or perhaps more Mabinogi Gold? Im still sort of toying with character concepts, and I cant find answers to these.
This is essencially correct. The Light exists in the world to help guide people to peace and justice, and as long as someone fights for that then the Light will answer their call, even if some might say that what youre doing is wrong. Hence why the Scarlet Crusade retains its Light-given power despite all the innocent people theyve slaughtered and tortured. But fighting for evil for evils sake using the Light isnt possible, and if someone isnt confident in what theyre doing is right then their Light-given power will be weak, or simply cease to exist. Its all in the heart.
