Any class dependable on hard casts was countered by rogues to get powerleveling. How many classes was that. Rogues had that awesome ability which could lock down a class utterly. The pace of the game was at a level that rogues could dominate as long as they had some survivability. Then rogues got mutilate to attack from the front. Do not get my wrong I like doing burst as a rogue. ALL the wrong measures were taken when trying to fix our class. Mabinogi online Gold is overpowered. I will fully admit that.  For the record I do not even like overkill I find it stupid. Rogues have to have burst since everyone has a million health and sustained does not quite cut it anymore unless you go mutilate with fast daggers and snd +expose up. It is such a bandaid though.


Look at how the game drastically went up in game pace. Casting which used to be a strategy and a part of this game has become a massive joke. Paladins and shamans which can be interrupted used to be solely based on the ability to cast long heals. This gave druids and priests an upper hand in arena.


When I previously mentioned what rogues counter it has changed massively. Heres what counters rogues at the moment. Ret paladins, Hunters, Death knights, warriors, holy paladins, Feral druids. We hardly counter warlocks, priests, mages and resto druids. What rogues actually had survivability because they were not dotted by every class in the game. Hunters and death knights primarily. They did not have the Armor but they have the ability to survive by playing offensive and using croud control. With Icebound lolatude rogues do not even stand a chance while they are eaten away.
