Warriors thus far have made out better than most classes. Arms will still be their dedicated PvP tree replete with what will now be undisputedly the most powerful Wound effect in the game (Mortal Strike) now that the Hunter version is being changed to a poison. Unrelenting Assault has been changed which was a significant blow to the spec, but they were compensated well for Star Wars Galaxies credits. Throw down, the 5 second stun plus knockdown effect is the most powerful piece of new crowd control that has been added to the game with the possible exception of Solar Beam. Druids have always been bar-none the most complex class to balance. There is no other class that can play all four roles that the game offers; Tanking, Healing, Ranged DPS and Melee DPS. As such, Druids are a nightmare to balance.

Balance Druids got the most attention in Cataclysm, which is likely deserved as they have been deemed sub-par for years now. With their new solar energy system they will have some interesting new mechanics to watch and have been compensated with talents to back them up. Solar Beam is the Monkish new killer move. A 10 second silence that affects an area on the ground and is cast instantly, this move could be paired with a 10 second Entangling Root spell for devastating effect on a caster (particularly a healer) leaving them unable to act for a full 10 seconds. On this ability alone, Balance Druids may make a PvP comeback in a big way. The rest of the tree remained fairly intact with a few new abilities to bump damage or help out with solar energy management. The new exploding mushrooms spell will be a big part of the class, and giving it a powerful snare component talented will give the Balance Druid the snare that they have been clamoring for for the better part of 3 years.
