Comparing NPC and Player Prices: The Fast Re-sell Trick - Since the in-game economy fluctuates so much, players auctioning off dyes, runes, or crafting materials may sometimes offer to sell Knight Noah items to other players for less than an NPC trader would pay.
If you see a player auctioning tradable items at bargain prices, you can send a /whisper expressing interest and go check the trader to see if the selling price on that item is high. If it is, you may be able to make a quick profit by buying the item off that player and then reselling it to the trader.
Alternatively, you can say in the trade channel that you want to buy a certain tradable item for some price that’s less than what the trader would pay and see if anyone offers to sell.
This trick works best if you already have a copy of the item in question so that you can request an exact sale quote for it.
This tactic is often considered dishonorable because it directly takes advantage of other players’ ignorance. Even so, anyone trying to save a large sum of gold should be aware of this tactic, if only to protect themselves from being exploited by it.
